I’m Not Who You Think I am

This photography project explores issues around identity.

We all have an inner self and an outer self. The outer self is the one that everyone sees. The inner self is the one that you see, or perhaps keep hidden from public view.

It might be how we see ourselves, not how others see us; it might be something about our past, or a future we’d like for ourselves; it might be a secret identity we have, or wish we had, or one that we feel compelled to hide from others; it might be a career we wish we had, rather than the one we have; or it might be something we do, or a skill that no-one knows about.

I’m not who you think I am therefore explores what might have been and what’s still to come.
